Campaign of the Month: May 2016
Bottled Desire Shortnotes
Adventure begins in Siwal after the return of the Fountain of Blood and the destruction of the Cult of Abd-Nezka
This is to be used a a bridging adventure between Fountain of Blood and the next two. It is to be played very loosely and should last only a day. It should incorporate a first performance and help to establish various NPC contacts for the party, while at the same time providing some light relief as well as acting for a vehicle in establishing Goran’s first contact with the Sand Corsairs.
There should be enough activity to allow for the upgrade of characters to LEVEL SIX.
PERFORM (at The Lingering Odour) Make 5 Entertainment Checks. DC 22 THREE SUCCESSES will guarantee good crowd appreciation and free rounds of drinks from SOMEONE. 4 successes will raise status of each member by ONE POINT. 5 successes will get all of the above but GAIN 2 STATUS POINTS each instead of one!!

Party have some prestige and some money from last adventure and payment from Vizier and Sultan and each should have had some private notes sent to them about their various contacts in the city. Play these as they arise but over all of this is the connecting plot:
Khuldjan has arranged a small task for Goran that he implies will be watched by The Sand Corsairs. The party is to meet with Haytham, noble from out of town. Haytham is in love with Nashwa (A Janni) and needs Goran to play the part of a friend of her family from the distant city of Sikkim. He is to vouch for Nashwa to Haytham’s father Kasib and offer the dowry.
However, before this, the party are to escourt Nashwa on her shopping trip. They should not know at first that she is Janni but it should soon be apparent that she knows little of human ways and customs and this should draw quite a bit of attention (and trouble) to the party at The Grand Souk.
Other complications will include Nashwa’s brother, Numair, openly obstructing the plans and the mad paladin, Abdul-Jabir, attacking blindly. He is part of a divine curse that resurrects him and his followers as they continually attack the party.
Eventually, they should escourt Nashwa back to the bridal tents and are asked to wait. In the meantime, however, Peter La Fayette has convinced Haytham that he is better for the job than Goran and Haytham consents, allowing Peter to make the deal with Kasib. At the time, M’ashal, Nashwa’s Janni father arrives, but Peter La Fayette is able to smooth everything out.
The party will have been oblivious to the meeting of the two fathers and will only have been made aware of it afterwards, where Haytham will apologise and still make his payment of 1,000 GP in honour of his word. So nobody loses out, really!
The Ruse: The whole scheme was part of a Sand Corsairs plot to test the mettle of the party and slip a special token into the personal belongings of Goran. This was done by a prestigious member of the Sand Corsairs disguised as Nashwa’s handmaiden.
After the adventure, the party should all be alive and well and be able to progress to LEVEL SIX!
